Hike to Chalet de l’Etape.

Next to the lake, facing the Mont-Blanc mountain range, the Chalet de l’ Etape is at 1470 meters altitude. This location is at the heart of Les Contamines-Hauteluce ski area.  In the summer, the leisure park is enjoyed by both children and adults with its pedalos, mini-beach and play area (crazy golf etc). Both in summer and winter, the restaurant and its sunny terrace are synonymous of conviviality. The menu are proposes local Savoyard specialities, a dish of the day and sandwiches.

Access:

In Winter, The Chalet de l’ Etape is accessible by foot or by Montjoie Gondola. In Summer, it is accessible by foot, by 4 wheel drive or by the Gorge gondola.
